Follow-up of high-dose chemotherapy -treated patients with bone marrow scintigraphy with tc99m nannocoll
Chapter
Summary
We assessed bone marrow(BM) hematopoetic capacity before and after high dose chemotherapy (HDC)by means of Tc99m nannocol bone marrow scintigraphy (BMS).Quantitative and qualitative BMS was performed in patients previously treated with standard chemo therapy and presently submitted to HDC. In this sequential study the patient is his own standard. 4 stages had been investigated. All 3 quantification parameters NLU, LU/STU, LU increased from MO(aplasia)to a higher value in M1(BM recovery) in all patients.
