Immunodiagnosis of Helminthic Infections
Chapter
Abstract
Schistosomiasis is a very important problem in endemic areas such as Japan, Philippines, China, Africa, South America, etc. Stool examination and rectal biopsy, which require much labour, have been employed for the diagnosis of schistosomiasis. By these techniques, eggs could not be found sometimes. Accordingly, the research on immunodiagnosis has been demanded.
