Abstract

The importance of ethology and pathoethology is increasing in veterinary science in relation to the increasing size of animal herds and the introduction of modern technology in animal production. The behaviour of animals is an integrated reaction of the organism: by means of their bearing and movements they can express their feelings concerning the environment.
