Item response tests are goodness of fit tests for analyzing the item scores of intelligence tests, and they perform better for the purpose than traditional tests, based on reproducibility measures, do. Like intelligence, quality of life is a multidimensional construct, and may, therefore, be equally suitable for item response modeling.
