Abstract
The treatment of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)-injured knee has been an exciting challenge, and it will continue to be so for a long time to come. Despite the improvements in our reconstruction techniques, advances in augmented tissue healing, and expansion of our knowledge of the anatomy and biomechanical role of the ACL, there are many questions yet to be answered. And, there is still plenty of room for improvement!
