Case Study 4: Navigating the Peer Review Process in Healthcare Simulation: A Doctoral Student’s Perspective

Dealing with the publication process can be a daunting task for the Early Career Researcher. In this case study, I explore my experiences journeying with manuscript preparation through the lens of developing a scholarly identity. This is challenging as a doctoral student as you juggle the dual role of developing scholarly skills whilst identifying your position in the academic world. The chapter includes real-life examples of manuscript submission and feedback, with practical suggestions for both authors and reviewers.
