Abstract

“saber-horned-face,” a monospecific genus of ceratopsid dinosaurs in the subfamily Centrosaurinae. Known from a partial skull described in 2016, it is estimated to be a medium-sized ceratopsian about 15 feet long. Like its cousin Nasutoceratops, M. cronusi was marked by two curved supratemporal horns, and it also had two unusual, forward-curving frill horns. Utah, the United States; Late Cretaceous, 82–80 Ma.
