Workforce Projects to Assist Health and Social Care Integration
This second chapter on dynamic workforce planning builds on the Integrated Care (Ham 2018) project work of Chap. 8 where system dynamics modelling was used to help stakeholders think about the consequences of changing the ‘balance of care’ between health and social care. Obviously, to implement any rebalancing might involve a change in the profile (or skills/qualifications mix) of the workforce.
