Pattern Recognition with Using Effective Algorithms and Methods of Computer Vision Library

This article discusses the possibility of using effective recognition algorithms of using the OpenCV library in computer vision area. It describes the algorithms of the Harris Corner Detection, the SURF (Speeded up robust features), SIFT (Scale-Invariant Feature Transform) and FAST (Features from Accelerated Segment Test) search algorithms, as well as their comparative analysis of the performance and recognition quality. Contour analysis for pattern recognition has also used. Applications of mathematical models and formulas for binarization of the image.
