Abstract

  • Treatment of the accelerated phase of Chediak-Higashi syndrome consists of etoposide, steroids, and intrathecal methotrexate followed by maintenance cyclosporine A

  • Remission is achieved in 75% of individuals within 8 weeks and once remission occurs, prompt hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is recommended
