Smart Solid Waste Collection and Management System

Tremendous growth in population and significant change in lifestyle are some of reasons which are leading to generate huge amount of solid waste in society. It is very much important and one of biggest challenges in front of our country, that need attention to find solution and implement it. This paper focuses on and provides optimum solution for the dustbins placed in various areas of city by Municipal Corporation. Some of well observed problem statements have been defined while designing solution, such as, overflow condition of dustbin, lack of awareness in people to use dustbins properly etc. Along with solution for these problems, present system consists of unique feature of detection of waste thrown outside and to recollect it back in dustbin properly over some existing researches that deals with RFID, IoT, WSN, Mobile Applications etc. Hence, present system provides best feasible solution for solid waste management considering all on-field issues.
