The concept of survivorship includes the long-term follow-up of patients who have had breast cancer and have undergone treatment. These survivors should be followed up to monitor the risk of disease recurrence, second neoplasm screening, assessment, and management of long-term physical and psychosocial side effects related to treatment and health promotion. Such actions may impact not only the quality of life but also on the free time of progression or overall survival.
