A Simple Estimation of the Efficiency for a Biomass Power Plant

  • Cataldo De BlasioEmail author
Part of the Green Energy and Technology book series (GREEN)

The overall energetic efficiency of a biomass power plant is explained here in a simple manner. The section starts with mass balances and continues with the evaluation of the thermal performance and efficiency. Incomplete combustion is considered, and the steps to evaluate the overall efficiency are given.
