In this case Xu focuses on diagnosing a case of Sunstroke, a complicated matter. He first gives two incorrect views of the case, which he does not explicitly attribute to physicians. He then provides his diagnosis and immediately quotes from the Treatise, to convince those present of his solid doctrinal foundations.
