Abstract

A widely grown edible fruits and vegetables in different countries are rich in iridoid and phenolic contents. Bioactive iridoids present in these fruits and vegetables could be useful in commercial preparation of nutraceutical diet supplements and herbal drugs for prevention and treatment of various ailments and diseases.
