Abstract
Volume increase in one sitting is limited. Educating the patient about fat suctioning is especially important that the most frequent postoperative side effect is not concerning the breast but possible uneven surface at the suctioned areas. These occur frequently to very probably (up to 100%) in cases of heavy fat cushions below a lesser tight skin. The correct execution of fat tissue transplantation avoids the formation of oil cysts, calcification, and disappearance of the tissue. Appearance of side effects is significantly lower than in the case of breast enlargement using silicone implants. After mastectomy and a prolonged freedom from a relapse, a reconstruction by fatgrafting appears to be safe. In case of a breast-retaining theory, a buildup can be advised only with very great reservations.
