Have Europeans Always Arrived from the Near East?

Abstract

In 2015, a widespread group of geneticists (Mathieson et al. 2015) reported the first ancient DNA investigation of the full genome from 26 Anatolian skeletons, concluding that these belonged to a population that was the source of Europe’s first farmers. This is just a further puzzle piece in the narrative that Europe’s first farmers descended from immigrants from the Near East
