Construction of Fuzzy Control System Rule-Base with Predefined Specificity

Fuzzy rule-base very frequently is used for function approximation, modeling and identification of systems and objects. It is known that main characteristic of fuzzy rule base arte specificity, granularity and interpretability. Research on trade-off between specificity and granularity of fuzzy rule-bases is very scars. In this paper we develop an approach to construct fuzzy rule-base with predefined specificity degree. The problem is to find such granularity of domain which gives desirable degree of specificity of designed fuzzy rule-base.
