It then suggests the possible utility of televangelist-focused Recreational Christianity for Emerging Evangelicals, before briefly highlighting playfully critical online appropriations of infamous television preacher Jim Bakker’s new ministry. Finally, it reiterates the positive impact of Tammy Faye Bakker-Messner’s campy fans on her public image.
