Résumé
L’accident vasculaire cérébral (AVC) est une des causes les plus fréquentes des nombreuses consultations en urgence pour un motif neurologique. Depuis la création des unités neurovasculaires, l’utilisation de thérapeutiques actives comme la thrombolyse dans les infarctus cérébraux ou les traitements par voie endovasculaire s’est considérablement développée. Le pronostic vital et fonctionnel de ces patients s’est amélioré. L’AVC est désormais une urgence diagnostique et thérapeutique.
