Abstract
The testis is the site of many diverse pathologic conditions in males of all ages. In children, nondescent is a common problem. After the onset of puberty, males become more susceptible to the development of germ cell tumors and some are troubled by infertility problems. All postpubertal males are at risk for various infectious and noninfectious inflammatory conditions affecting the testis. Older men, although less likely to develop germ cell tumors, experience a gradually increasing incidence of testicular lymphoma
