Calculation of quantity of heavy absorber needed to minimize matrix effects
Chapter
Abstract
In the analysis of tin ores it is found that a very curved calibration line is obtained due to the large difference in the mass absorption coefficients of the two matrix components Sn (μ = 13) and SiO2 (μ = 1.80) for the analysis line(Sn Kα).
