Calculation of Thermopower in Noble Metals Using dHvA Data
Chapter
Abstract
Results for the change in area of the Noble metal Fermi surfaces with electron energy evaluated at the Fermi energy are calculated using the dHvA effective mass data on copper, silver, and gold of Lengeler et. al.l Local values for the Fermi velocities deduced from the effective mass data provide the full energy gradient in k-space at all points on the Fermi surface.
