Use of the Neodynium Yag Laser for the Anterior Segment Surgeon
Conference paper
Abstract
The most recent data available from the FDA indicate that 70% of the intraocular lenses currently being implanted in the United States are of the posterior chamber variety. Anterior chamber lenses account for nearly 30% of the lenses being implanted in the United States, but at least half of these are implanted secondarily, so that over 80% of lenses implanted primarily are posterior chamber lens implants.
