Abstract
In at least some formulations, particularly those inspired by Felix Klein, the central notion of topology is that of a homeomorphism. (Since doughnuts are homeomorphic to coffee cups, topologists are sometimes suspected of not being able to tell the difference.) We turn now to some applications of homeomorphisms within logic.
