Localized Moments of Dilute Iron in Nonmagnetic Host Metals

Abstract
One very useful application of the Mössbauer effect has been the study of the magnetic behavior of Fe57 in various environments. The readily resolvable hyperfine spectrum allows an easy and relatively accurate determination of the effective field at the site of the Mössbauer nucleus.
