Recent Contributions to the Macroscopic Analysis of Conducting Electromechanical Solids

  • R. C. Geldmacher
Conference paper

The behavior of conducting solids subjected to strong electric fields has been recently investigated analytically by both Haines and Geldmacher [1, 2]. In the present paper the general formulation of the problem is presented and the solutions and results of the two authors are reviewed and discussed.
