Abstract
A 28-year-old man with a 1-year history of a T2-3 spinal gunshot wound was admitted for a basket extraction of a left ureteral stone. Past medical history was significant for recurrent urinary tract infections, periodic decubitus ulcers, and a stress fracture of the right femur. During his last surgery 4 months ago, the patient stated, the doctors had “had problems with my blood pressure being too high.” The patient denied any allergies.
