Abstract
Only a tiny, well-funded, design office can make a sudden leap to embrace CAD for all of its workload. All other organisations have to change direction gradually and with considerable care. Business direction is the concern of management. Redirecting a business towards the rapidly moving target of evolving new technology is something which can be both daunting and a challenge to any management.
