Calcium Chloride Effect on Glycerolipids Metabolism in Olive Tree Leaf

  • Chapter
The Metabolism, Structure, and Function of Plant Lipids

Abstract

Many works about the effect of saline environment on higher plants shown that salt stress affects several aspects of their physiological and biochemical functions (1, 2, 3). So, for the purpose of a better understanding of the olive tree physiology under saline conditions, we have studied the effects of calcium chloride on some glycerolipids metabolism aspects in olive tree leaf.
