DNA Mediated Genetic Correction of Thiamineless Arabidopsis Thaliana
Chapter
Abstract
Avery’s [1] classical experiments showed that it was possible to influence cell function in procaryotes by the addition of exogenous genetic information. Analysis demonstrated that bacteria can take up DNA and integrate it into their genome by genetic recombination (see A. Tomasz, this book).
