Some Theorems Relating to the Structure of Amorphous Solids

Abstract

The theme of this lecture is the problem of structure-building with given constraints. Given the topic of this institute, it would not be appropriate to stress periodic structures. We shall choose results and ideas which are not restricted to periodic structures, as opposed to group theoretical results related to symmetry.
