An Overview of Stellar Evolution

Abstract

The preceding chapter introduced some of the ingredients necessary for understanding simple stellar models. We now follow an entirely different path and assume that all the theoretical tools are in hand and evolved stellar models have already been constructed for our pleasure and enlightenment. All we have to do is study the results. The details of how some of these results come about are left to the remainder of the book.
