The Trends and Future of Photobiology : Physical and Biophysical Aspects

  • J. W. Longworth

Abstract

These remarks are my attempt to comment on symposium papers and contributed poster sessions presented during the congress in biophysical science. Biophysics is a diverse subject of studies, and my view of it is biased toward spectroscopy, as is photobiology. In addition, because I had quite recently listened to several of the symposium speakers at meetings in the United States, at this meeting I tended to listen to alternative talks; thus the lack of comment on some presentations. This is ray way of pointing out that these comments are just that and are not a balanced review of even this Congress.
