Abstract
What are the interrelations between households and economic change? This question can only be answered by looking at the way work is organised. So what about work organisation in households? A household is a small group of people, often, but not always, a family, who cooperate to solve tasks, so as to sustain the basic material, social and emotional needs of the group. Households control resources, and depend on income from different sources. Household incomes may come in a variety of forms, such as money, goods or services.
