Antioxidant and Hepatoprotective Properties of IdB 1016, A New Flavanolignan Complex

Abstract
The new form of silybin, IdB 1016, displays good antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties in isolated rat hepatocytes treated with CBrCl3, allyl alcohol and cumene hydroperoxide following both in vivo and in vivo administration of this flavanolignan.
