Nuclear Power — Meeting Tomorrow’s Electrical Generation Paradigm

Abstract

New base-load electrical power generation in many countries today is essentially an oxymoron. Additions in the United States are better described as peaking units as op-posed to base generation. Larger plants, whether coal or nuclear, are seldom considered. Additionally, compounding the reigning confusion is the claim that natural gas is “the clean energy.” It’s a strange time!
