Abstract

For treatment planning it is very important to perform preliminary measurements of the spatial distribution of absorbed dose with good resolution and reliability. To this purpose Computer simulations are commonly utilised, supported by experimental measurements performed through small dosimeters placed at various locations in a tissue-equivalent phantom.
