Average Continuous Control of PDMPs

This chapter is devoted to the presentatation of some notation, basic assumptions, and the control problems to be considered in the book. In Sect. 2.2, some standard notation and some basic definitions related to the motion of a PDMP are presented. In Sect. 2.3, the definitions of ordinary and relaxed control spaces as well as some operators required for characterizing the optimality equation are presented. Some proofs of auxiliary results are presented in Sect. 2.4.
