Abstract

Leonidas Zervas was born in Megalopolis, Greece, in 1902. He graduated from high school in the town of Kalamata in 1918 and attended the School of Natural Sciences, Chemistry Section, University of Athens, for 2 years. In 1921, he interrupted his studies in Athens and moved to Berlin, where he attended the Philosophical Faculty (Chemistry Section), the University of Berlin, and received his Ph.D. degree in chemistry in 1926.
