Abstract
In his book, “Future Shock”, Alvin Toffler (1970) emphasizes the importance of being able to cope with the kinds of tension resulting from rapid changes in our life style. It is imperative that we learn to combat such stress-induced tension — and thus be able to adapt to “future shock”.
