Threshold and Pseudothreshold Excitation of Molecules by Electron Impact
Chapter
Abstract
Threshold and pseudothreshold excitation of diatomic molecules are considered. In particular it is shown that certain geometrical factors, which suggest a preferential population of particular magnetic substates, can be separated from the excitation amplitudes. The case of excitation is discussed in detail.
