Noise suppression and prevention in piezoelectric transducer systems
Chapter
Abstract
This paper is concerned with electrical noise which introduces errors into piezoelectric vibration transducers. While some of the included calculation is specific to a piezoelectric accelerometer/charge amplifier combination, the description of sources of noise and how to reduce noise pick-up is applicable to a wide range of measurement situations using electrical transmission of the transducer output signal.
