Nonlinear Optical and Electroactive Polymers: An Overview
Chapter
Abstract
Polymers have come a long way in being recognized as an important class of materials for electronics and optical applications. Also, they have begun to attract considerable attention of chemists and physicists as challenging systems for basic understanding of ultrastructure and dynamics of charge carriers and optical interactions. In the past year the field has witnessed explosive growth at industries and universities alike with a considerably widen research scope.
