On the Dielectric Constants in Donor-Acceptor Pair Luminescence

Abstract

In the literature there is a lot of confusion in the calculation of the positions of the donor-acceptor pair luminescence lines. This is due to the fact that it is not really understood if e₀or e_∞should be taken into account. This short seminar dealt with this problem and showed that for the maxima of the band and for the zero phonon line e_∞and e₀ have to be used, respectively.
