Abstract

This case describes the MitraClip procedure for recurrent mitral regurgitation in a patient with a history of Libman-Sacks endocarditis and prior mitral annuloplasty. The mechanism of the recurrent mitral regurgitation was ring dehiscence. Surgery was felt to be very high risk due to multiple comorbidities.
