Risk Based Emergency Planning and Handling

Abstract

Risk analysis and contingency planning have so far developed relatively independently, in spite of obvious common interests. This paper is based on the idea that co-operation can cause improvements in both areas. The intention of the paper is to show how the use of risk analysis methods can give useful input in an emergency situation.
