Morphology of the Colon and Anorectum

  • J. Christensen

Abstract

Understanding the structure of an organ underlies understanding the function. This chapter is intended to present what is known of the structure of the colon and anorectum, to point out matters that are known but often passed over or neglected, and to indicate areas of deficient information.
