Controlled vocabulary

Abstract

Up until now, we have been looking at the information structures defining an information space from the point of view of someone seeking some information. In this chapter, we will be looking at these structures themselves, and seeing how they provide the geometry of an information space, and how they can be used to gain an overview of the space. These information structures are generally “controlled vocabularies”.
