Abstract
Complex cultures of immune-organoids supported by the microperfusion bioreactor HIRIS can be used as an in vitro-model of secondary human lymphatic organs such as lymph nodes or spleen. Various functions of the human immune system can be engineered for the induction of humoral or cellular immune responses:
